Kuala Lumpur is one of the easiest Southeast Asian cities to fit into a short trip — direct flights from Chennai, easy public transport, and a mix of modern skyline and old-town charm.
Day 1: City centre & Petronas Towers
Start at the Petronas Towers observation deck, then walk over to KLCC Park in the evening to watch the fountain show with the towers lit up behind it.
- Petronas Towers Skybridge & Observation Deck
- KLCC Park fountain show (evenings)
- Suria KLCC for shopping and dinner
Day 2: Batu Caves & Chinatown
Head out early to Batu Caves before it gets crowded, then spend the afternoon exploring Petaling Street and the street food stalls around Chinatown.
Day 3: Bukit Bintang & departure
Use your last morning for a slow breakfast and last-minute shopping around Bukit Bintang before heading to the airport.
Three days is enough to get a real feel for KL — any longer and we’d suggest adding on Genting Highlands or Malacca as a side trip.
